Jaguar Growth Partners Appoints Investor Relations Executive
Market veteran Quyen Tran joins from Perella Weinberg Partners
New York, NY; March 9, 2015 – Jaguar Growth Partners, a privately-held investment management and advisory firm, announced today that Quyen Tran, has joined as a Principal leading the Firm’s fundraising and investor relations.
“Quyen is a powerful addition to our company,” said Gary Garrabrant, Jaguar’s Managing Partner. “Her depth of experience working directly with investors will greatly benefit our clients and partners,” added Thomas McDonald, Managing Partner.
Prior to joining Jaguar, Ms. Tran was a Director of Marketing at Perella Weinberg Partners, focusing on client relations and product development for the firm’s alternative strategies. At Perella Weinberg, she also served as the Product Specialist for the firm’s Global Macro strategies, where she worked closely with the portfolio management team to communicate investment strategy and performance to institutional investors.
Ms. Tran brings to Jaguar significant experience in the alternative industry. Before joining Perella Weinberg, Ms. Tran was a product specialist at Och-Ziff Capital Management, focusing on marketing efforts for the European and dedicated fixed-income strategies. Ms. Tran also served as a Vice President of Business Development at Highbridge Capital Management, where she was the Lead Product Specialist for multi-strat, quant and global macro/commodities strategies. She began her career at Citigroup Global Markets as an Analyst in the equity capital markets Investment Bank.
Ms. Tran received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a concentration in International Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in French from Dartmouth College. She also earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Ms. Tran serves as a board member of the Stanley Isaacs Neighborhood Center in New York and is conversant in French.
