Alvaro Rodriguez

Alvaro Rodriguez is a senior investment professional with over a decade of experience in real estate private equity across the United States and Latin America. He currently serves as an Investment Vice President at Jaguar Growth Partners in Miami, where he helped structure and manages the firm’s first $50 million investment vehicle focused on U.S. value-add and debt strategies. He also leads portfolio management efforts for Latin American investments representing over $1 billion in AUM and serves on the board of Colombian Healthcare Properties (CHP), a Jaguar portfolio company.

Prior to joining Jaguar, Alvaro was an Investment Manager at Paladin Realty Partners in Mexico City, a boutique private equity firm investing across Latin America, playing a key role in the formation of a public vehicle targeting $200 million from Mexican pension funds.

Earlier in his career, he held roles at MIRA Companies, a Black Creek Group subsidiary, and PGIM (Prudential Global Investment Managers), where he gained extensive experience in asset management, development budgeting, dispositions, and institutional reporting for portfolios ranging from commercial assets to large-scale housing developments.

Alvaro holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Real Estate. While at UNC, he served as Lead Manager for the KFBSF Real Estate Fund, a student-led private equity investment vehicle. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and received a certificate in Property Valuation and Debt & Equity Finance from New York University.
